08.28.2005. NICARAGUA'S CHAMPION !!!. Shanna competes in the XVI International Show "Unica 2005", in Managua - Nicaragua, winning the Championship at 14 months of age, receiving both “Excellent” valuations and winning in GROUP 1. (see picture).

07.17.2005. Shanna participates in her fourth show (double judging) with 13 months old. Won all the points available to her; got “Excellent” mark from judge René Echevarría (Puerto Rico) and “Very Good” from judge Oscar Valverde. She finishes 3th place in group final (see picture).

05.07-08.2005. Shanna participates in her third show (double judging both international and national) with little less than 11 months old. She won all the points available and received 4 “Excellent” evaluations and competed for best young on show. Unfortunately she losses the competition for breed, being “Breed Reserve” in all occasions. (see pictures).

04.23.2005. Congratulations to Julie Desy and her Ilemist Shelties for her results on the Shelties National 2005. Julie was the winning handles of the Opposite sex of BIS. Furthermore, one of the dogs from the Kennel Ilemist won the STUD DOG category (complete results).

03.13.2005. Shanna participates in her 2nd show (double judging) at 9 months old. Won all the points available to her; got “Excellent “ mark from judge Ramon Acasuso (Mexico) and “Very Good” from judge Rodrigo Fallas. She finishes 2nd place in each group’s finals (see picture).

02.26.2005. We have a scare in AVS, due to an allergic reaction in Shanna caused by an insect bite. Luckily it did not go beyond a scare, although considerable temporary swellings to her face (see picture).

02.13.2005. Shanna participates in her 1st show (double Judging) with 8 months old. She won all the points available to her and receives to “Very Good” marks, finishing 4th and 3rd in each respective group final (see pictures).

12.20.2004. The DNA report by VETGEN arrives, SHANNA'S results are CLEAR of the Von Willebrand disease-vWD- (see report)

10.11.2004. Zanna is an unusual and rather unattractive name in Spanish. We look for another one that has a better perception and that won’t confuse her much… so from now on our star will be named SHANNA.

10.10.2004. Zanna is home ¡¡¡¡¡¡. Her new housemate Sabandija welcomes her. She arrives with at almost 4 months old from Davidsonville, Maryland and Wyandotte, Michigan, besides a few days in Davie, Florida. (see: photo 1; photo 2).

09.27.2004. October 8th is the new date for our trip to pick up Zanna.

09.25.2004. Our trip to the USA is cancelled due to Hurricane Jeanne. All Florida airports are closed due to bad weather. Talk about a set-back, How sad!!!
